Mr. Gastagar, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner had submitted the proposal for verification of his caste claim with the Committee. However, the Committee returned the said proposal on the ground that the same is not submitted through College. According to the learned counsel an individual also can submit proposal for verification. 2.

The learned AGP submits that there are various deficiencies. The petitioner has to comply the said deficiencies.

The committee has to verify the proposal even if it is submitted by an individual. It cannot return the proposal seeking validation only on the ground that 1/2

34.odt it is submitted by individual and not through Institution.

The petitioner shall re-submit the proposal in proper format with all compliances. If the proposal is submitted by the petitioner seeking verification of his caste claim, then the Committee shall consider the said proposal and shall not reject it on the ground that the proposal has been submitted by the petitioner individually and not through Institution.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
