Petitioner claims to be belonging to Mannervarlu, Scheduled Tribe. Since he has been appointed as peon in the agricultural department as against the vacancy earmarked for Scheduled Tribe category, tribe certificate issued in his favour has been referred to the Scrutiny Committee for verification on 12.06.2012 and the matter is still stated to be pending. Petitioner has been issued notice by his employer directing him to produce validation certificate within specified time and he has been warned that in the event of his failure his services would be terminated. 2.
In the facts of the case, this petition can be disposed of with directions to respondent no. 4 Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the proposal for verification of tribe certificate issued in favour of petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from today and, it is accordingly directed.

In the meanwhile, respondents 2 and 3 are directed not to take any coercive action against petitioner on the ground of his failure to submit validation certificate. It would be open for the respondents to take appropriate action depending upon the outcome of the inquiry in respect of tribe certificate of petitioner pending with the Scrutiny Committee. 4.
