The applicants/appellants herein have been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 324 and 148 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code. The maximum period of sentence, which the applicants were directed to undergo, is rigorous imprisonment for three years.

Considering the quantum of sentence imposed and the fact that the appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in the near

3-cr.appeal.183.2022 future, during pendency of the appeal, the substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended. The applicants be released on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) each with one surety each in the like amount. The application stands disposed of.
