Heard.
2.
The petitioner is seeking a direction in respect of a mutation entry which was proposed on the basis of a compromise decree, to be certified. The learned AGP files affidavit-in-reply along with the annexures specifically mentioning that the authority under the Land Revenue Code has refused to certify the proposed mutation. He points out the entries in respect of mutation No.2209 (page no.41).
3.
Since it is an order passed under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (the Code) by an authority, the petitioner will have to challenge that order by preferring an appeal under Section 247 of the Code. Keeping open that remedy to the petitioner, the petition is disposed of. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (MANGESH S. PATIL, J.) habeeb 1/1
