Present petition has been filed for directions to the respondent no.2 to decide applications of the petitioners for caste certificates. Said applications were given by the petitioners on 25.11.2023.

Learned AGP waives notice for both respondents and, on instructions, makes a statement that some queries have been raised, which have not been replied by the petitioners. If the petitioners replies the same, the applications of the petitioners can be decided within three (3) weeks.

In view of the said statement, we direct the petitioners to appear before the respondent no.2 on Monday i.e. 15th of April, 2024. Respondent no.2 to give the queries in writing to the petitioners on that day. The petitioners to satisfy the said queries as early as possible within a period of one week and, thereafter, the respondent no.2 to decide the said applications within a period of three (3) weeks after the explanation is submitted by the petitioners.
