The claim of the petitioner for tribe certificate verification as 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled Tribe is pending for verification before the respondent No.2 committee. The respondent No.2 committee having been accepted the proposal on-line has refused to accept the hard copy of the caste certificate of the petitioner on the ground that the same was not recommended/forwarded by the educational institution.

Apart from the fact that the father of petitioner holds validity, there is hardly any justifiable reason which could be born from the record to inter that the hard copy of the caste certificate (original) of the petitioner needs to be forwarded by the educational institution when the respondent committee has already accepted the proposal on-line for verification.

As such, writ petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent No.2 committee to accept the hard copy of the caste certificate of the petitioner, if so tendered with covering letter within a period of two weeks from today.
