Petitioner claims to be belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe. Since petitioner has been admitted to respondent no. 2 College to M.B.B.S. degree course as against the seat earmarked for Scheduled Tribe category, caste certificate issued in her favour has been referred to Scrutiny Committee for verification and, the proposal is still stated to be pending. 2.
In this view of the matter, respondent no. 2 Scrutiny Committee is directed to take decision in respect of the tribe certificate validation proposal of petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of one year from today and, it is accordingly directed. In the meanwhile, petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute further studies subject to the decision in respect of validation claim pending with the Scrutiny Committee. Respondent no. 3 University is directed to accept
wp2441.16.doc examination form and fees and, permit petitioner to appear for the examination and declare her result, subject, however, to the decision in respect of validation claim pending with the Committee. 3.
