Learned A.G.P. appearing for Respondent-State, on instructions, informs that the record in respect of proceedings presented under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act by the petitioners have been reconstructed and after making due inquiry, appropriate proposal is being submitted to the Collector within one week from today. On receipt of the proposal, the Collector would declare award under Section 28A of the Act within a period of seven weeks. Thus, the proceedings under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, presented by petitioners, would be finalised within a period of eight weeks from today.

On determination of amount of compensation under Section 28A of the Act, if petitioners are held to be entitled to receive such amount, the amount shall be disbursed to them as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks

In view of the statement made by learned A.G.P., on instructions from the Sub Divisional Officer, who is present in the Court, as also with the directions as above, Writ Petition stands disposed of.
