Petitioner claims to be belonging to 'Thakur' Scheduled Tribe and has secured admission to the medical course as against the seat earmarked for Scheduled Tribe category. The tribe certificate issued in favour of pettioner has been referred for verification to the Scrutiny Committee and the proposal in that regard is stated to be pending. Scrutiny Committee, inspite of issuance of directions by this Court on 12.08.2014 directing the Scrutiny Committee to decide verification proposal within one year from the date of the order, has failed to take any decision.

Learned AGP for Scrutiny Committee states on instructions that the Committee would take decision in the matter within four months from today and the time allowed by this Court earlier may be extended. Statement made is accepted and the Scrutiny Committee is directed to take decision in

wp2440.16.doc respect of validation proposal of petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today. 3.

Petitioner contends that as a result of her failure to submit validation certificate, the University has not declared her result of 2nd year examination. The University as such is directed to declare result of 2nd year MBBS examination and permit petitioner to appear for further examination, if required.

in the meanwhile, respondents 1 and 4 are directed not to take any coercive action against petitioner on the ground of her failure to submit validation certificate.
