The petitioner is faced with a situation, wherein, her documents and certificate is not been issued by the Government Medical College because of the variance in the caste certificate and the caste validity certificate in respect of date rather year. 2.

Her application has been pending with the scrutiny committee for correction.

Learned learned AGP, on instructions, submits that it was a mistake on the part of respondent No.2 - Committee in mentioning incorrect year. The petitioner may surrender the original certificate of validity and the committee would issue a fresh one to her with a correct year within a week.

The writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent No.2, surrender her original validity certificate and get the new one with correct year.
