The petitioners are aggrieved that their proceedings before the District Magistrate, Jalna with regard to compensation towards loss of diminution of value of property be decided in the light of the Central Government Resolution dated 15-10-2015 and the State Government Resolution dated 31-05-2017.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with the direction that respondent No.4- the District Magistrate, Jalna would decide the said proceedings as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 31-01-2023, after hearing all the contesting parties and by granting them a reasonable opportunity of hearing.

We make it clear that if the said authority has jurisdiction to deal with such claims, it would decide the same.
