The Petitioner Librarian has sough direction against the Respondents to release salary grants in respect of his appointment on the post of Librarian. During arguments, the learned AGP produced on record copy of order made by the Nagpur Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.1524 of 2014 (Anil S/o Namdeorao Therkar Vs. Govdwana University and another). This Court considered the relevant aspects of the matter and held that as the M. Phil. degree was not obtained before on or before 10th July, 2009, the Petitioner of that case was not entitled to get the relief. In the present matter, the

932 WP.2389.14.odt submissions made show that the Petitioner got the M. Phil. degree on 14th July, 2009 i.e. after the cut off date. Though the learned counsel for Petitioner submitted that the said decision cannot made applicable as against the Petitioner, in view of the cut off date in such cases, this Court holds that no relief can be given to the present Petitioner. In the result, the petition stands dismissed.
