Mr. Bide, the learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was issued with tender for supply of drinking water tanker. The petitioner complied with all the conditions and the contract work is concluded. The security deposit of Rs. 2,18,000/- is not released. So also other payments are not released. The petitioner had made representations from time to time to the authorities, but no cognizance has been taken on it as yet. The learned counsel submits that, lastly on 22.02.2017 the petitioner has made comprehensive representation to respondent

2 wp 3127.17 Nos. 2, 3 and 4, but till today no cognizance has been taken. 2.

It is appropriate for the authorities to verify the claim made by the petitioner and after verifying the claim, if the authorities come to the conclusion that some amount is due and payable to the petitioner, then the authorities have to take steps for payment of amount due and payable, which is legitimately due to the petitioner.

The respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall take decision upon the representation given by the petitioner on 22.02.2017 (page No.
