Learned Additional Government Pleader and Assistant Government Pleader accept notice for Respondent Nos.1 and 2.

Ms.Vaishali Choudhari, learned counsel appears for the University.

It is submitted that the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioners are pending since 2016, however, the University is not accepting examination forms on the ground that validity is not yet submitted. 4.

Considering the fact that validation proceedings are pending, we pass the following order :- (a) The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within nine (9) months from the date of appearance of the petitioners.

(b) The petitioners shall appear before the

Committee on 21.3.2018.

The Respondent University and College shall not refuse to accept the examination forms of the petitioners for the first year BDS examination only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending. In case the petitioners are otherwise eligible then the Respondents shall not refrain the petitioners from prosecuting further studies only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending. (c) The Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
