Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

By way of present writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the impugned order dated 13.9.2022 passed by the learned District Judge-1, Kandhar in Election Petition No. 1/2017, by which the election petition was disposed of.

The term of the Zilla Parishad election held for the period 2017 to 2022 is already over and there is no point in keeping EVM machine idle. As such, the order passed by the District Judge-1, Kandhar in Election Petition No. 1/2017 need not be interfered as no meaningful purpose would be served by entertaining the present writ petiton. 4.
