In para 3 of the application, the applicant has alleged that he was not aware of the passing of the award by the learned Tribunal. Shri Shirsat has stated that he has deposited 50% of the amount of compensation. For the reasons stated in the application, it appears that sufficient cause is made out for condonation of delay. Respondents can be compensated with cost. In view of this, delay of 297 days is condoned subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- to be paid to the claimant. If the cost is not deposited within two months the application shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court. [M.G. SEWLIKAR, J.] mub
