The petitioner has put forth prayer clause (A), which reads as under:- "A.
To direct the respondent No. 2 and 3 to hear and decide the case bearing Enquiry No.54/93/2012 pending on the files of Ld. Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs within a stipulated time of 4 Months by issuing writ of mandamus or any other order, direction in the like nature."

The learned Advocate representing respondent Nos.2 and 3 submits that, as Section 54 of the Waqf Act, 1995 has undergone an amendment in 2013, respondent No.3 has to prepare a report and submit it to the Waqf Tribunal. There are 105 respondents in the pending proceeding of 2012, as is set out in the prayer clause
3876.22wp (2) reproduced above. He submits that respondent No.3 would endeavour to decide the proceeding within six months. 3.
In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 4.
We expect respondent No.3, to conclude the said proceedings bearing Enquiry No.54/93/2012, on or before 30/11/2022.
