At the request of the learned Advocate for the petitioner, leave to add Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee as a partyrespondent. 2.

The learned Asstt. Govt. Pleader accepts the notice for the added respondent.

Mr. Undre, learned Advocate for the petitioner, states that the Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee confiscated the caste certificate of the petitioner on the ground that nomenclature of the tribe is incorrectly mentioned in the certificate. The petitioner has filed such an application with respondent No.2-the Sub-Divisional Officer for getting corrected the tribe certificate on 2nd January 2020. The Sub-Divisional officer has not taken cognizance of the same. 4.

We have also heard the learned Asstt. Govt. Pleader for respondent No.2.

The petitioner shall apply for the attested copy of the tribe certificate from the Caste Scrutiny Committee. The Caste Scrutiny Committee shall, within one week of the application made by the petitioner, issue attested copy of the tribe certificate submitted by the petitioner. The petitioner, on receipt of the attested copy of the tribe certificate, shall submit the same to the Sub-Divisional Officer. The Sub-Divisional Officer, on receipt of the attested tribe certificate from the petitioner, shall, after verifying the said certificate, issue corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner with corrected nomenclature, within two weeks.

The petitioner on receipt of the said corrected tribe certificate, shall submit the proposal to the Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee for its validation, which the Committee shall decide in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
