Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

As a limited grievance is raised by the petitioner in the petition, the petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage. 3.

The petitioner completed her academic course of Revised ANM (M.H.W.) held in July, 2008 from an institute, namely, Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission Hospital, Nagpur. Though the petitioner received the statement of marks and also registration certificate along with a renewal slip, as a formality she was in need of smart card for better service options. Initially, an application was submitted to the Deputy Registrar of Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai. As no heed was paid to the application, the petitioner issued a legal notice to the Registrar of Maharashtra Nursing Council reiterating his prayer for renewal for registration and issuance of smart card from March, 2017. This legal notice is issued on 5th February, 2018 and is pending till date of filing of the petition. The submission is, delay in receipt of smart card would result in loosing better job opportunities to the petitioner. 4.

On the backdrop of aforesaid fact situation, we dispose of the petition with directions to respondent no.2 to treat the legal notice dated 5th December, 2018 as a representation submitted to the authority and decide the same expeditiously, on or before 22nd March, 2019, needless to state on merit of the representation.

The petitioner is permitted to provide a copy of the order of this Court immediately to respondent no.2.
