Learned A.P.P. submits that the petitioner herein was externed under Section 57 of the Bombay Police Act by an order, dated 30.11.2006.

Being aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner had filed an appeal under Section 60 of the then Bombay Police Act, which was dismissed by the judgment and order, dated 26.3.2007.

Being aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

By order, dated 7.9.2007 the execution and implementation of the impugned order was stayed by this Court. Hence, by efflux of time, the prayer clause in the petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the petition is disposed of. Rule stands discharged accordingly.
