Mr. Humbe, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of this petition in June 2016 the management has forwarded the proposal to the Education Officer to grant approval to the petitioner on grant-in-aid basis.

Mr. Sawant, learned counsel for Education Officer submits that the said proposal is still pending and not yet decided.

The Education Officer shall decide the said proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner on grant-in-aid basis expeditiously, preferably within three months. The petitioner himself is entitled to represent and put forth his stand before the Education Officer.

The other grievance made by the petitioner is that the salary is not paid since 2005. The fact that the petitioner has worked since 2005 with the respondents is not disputed. The petitioner shall also make representation to that effect to the Education Officer. After verifying the record, the Education Officer shall determine the salary receivable by the petitioner after hearing the petitioner and the management. The same be done within a period of six months from

the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner.

Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs.
