The application of the petitioners for issuance of tribe certificate of 'Mannervarlu' (Scheduled Tribe) is rejected. The appeal filed against the order of the Sub Divisional Officer is dismissed. Aggrieved thereby present petition. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for all respondents.

It appears that, the father of petitioners is issued with the tribe certificate of Mannervarlu (S.T.). The real paternal uncle of petitioners is issued with the validity certificate of Mannervalrlu

2 wp 2586.18 (S.T.). It is trite that at this stage, the authorities have to prima facie satisfied. Even otherwise the tribe certificate has to be referred to the Committee for verification.

In the light of the above, the impugned orders are quashed and set aside. The respondent No. 3/Sub Divisional Officer, Kandhar, Dist. Nanded shall issue tribe certificates to petitioners of 'Mannervarlu' (Scheduled Tribe) expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
