PER COURT:

1] Heard the petitioner, who is party in person and learned counsel for respondents.

2] This contempt petition alleges willful disobedience of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Contempt Petition No.324 of 2014, In para.5 of the said order, the Division Bench of this Court has observed thus :- "It would be seen that W.P. No. 8777 of 2012 was restricted to the extent of interest. This court had directed the respondents to pay interest @ 12% p.a. on amount of Rs. 29,133/-. Party in person does not dispute about the same and states that he has received the said interest. The grievance is now limited to the extent of not deciding the cse of the petitioner with regard to damages.".

3] In pursuance to notices issued to the respondents, the respondents have filed the affidavit in reply. Alongwith affidavit in reply, at page 47 at Exhibit R-1, copy of decision taken by the Chief Post Master

{2} 948 sr. no..odt General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai dated 27th February, 2015, after hearing the petitioner and after following the directions given by this Court in the aforementioned writ petition, is annexed. It appears that petitioner's claim for damages to the tune of Rs. 50 Lakhs has been turned down. 4] In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the said decision, it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy. In our opinion, the order of which contempt has been alleged, the directions contained therein have been complied by the respondents. Contempt petition is disposed of. Consequently, civil application filed by petitioner bearing Civil Application No. 7719 of 2015 also stands disposed of.
