By our order dated 07.08.2024 we had directed Manager, H.D.F.C. Bank to allow the petitioner to operate his account without any lien on any amount. We had observed taking into consideration Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure that by no stretch of imagination it can be said that such lien can be kept or can be ordered by Police Officer under Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
