Mr. Golegaonkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding is pending since the year 2010. The same is not decided. The retiral benefits of the petitioner are withheld. 2.

The learned A.G.P. on instructions submits that the petitioner is not co-operating in disposal of the proceeding. He has given letter to the committee to proceed on the basis of documents and he would not be in a position to co-operate.

Mr. Golegaonkar, learned counsel submits that he would instruct the petitioner to appear before the committee.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 07.09.2021. The vigilance is already conducted. The petitioner may file his say to the vigilance report on the said date and shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. If the petitioner does not wish to remain present before the committee, the committee is entitled to proceed further and decide the proceeding.

The committee may decide the proceeding expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
