These are similar matters. In all these matters, the grievance of the petitioners is that their lands were acquired more than 15 years ago and compensation amounts have still not been paid to them. Acquisition is for a public project.

The learned A.G.P. submits on instructions that necessary steps have been taken and the matters have progressed. Within a period of six months, the compensation amounts in accordance with law, will be paid to these petitioners. The petitioners are satisfied.

In view of the above, these petitions are disposed off by recording the statement that the compensation amounts shall be paid to these petitioners expeditiously. We expect such disbursement of compensation to be made on or before 28/02/2022.
