DATE : DECEMBER 14, 2018 PER COURT It is submitted that the verification proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending since 2006.

This Court, under order dated 29.06.2018, had directed the Scrutiny Committee to tender explanation, as to why the proposal of the petitioner for verification of the tribe claim has not yet been decided.

The explanation is submitted and it is stated that within three months, the proceedings would be decided. The petitioner has already appeared for hearing before the Committee.

In the light of the above, we dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the Committee to decide the representation of the petitioner within three months. No costs.
