2] It is submitted that the consent award has been passed on 29/5/2017. The amount has been mentioned in the consent award. 21⁄2 years have lapsed. The amount of compensation is not paid. 3] It is submitted that the possession has been taken by the respondents in the year 2002.

4] Considering the above, the respondents shall pay the amount to the petitioners as per the consent award dated 25/9/2017 in case there is no other impediment within a period of 6 months from today. The said compensation amount shall carry interest at the rate of

( 2 ) wp7478-19 9% p.a. for one year after the passing of the consent award and thereafter 15% p.a. till the payment is actually made.

5] Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
