The Petitioner claims interest on the awarded compensation amount under section 80 of the Land Acquisition Act of 2013. The learned AGP submits that the land was acquired by a private negotiation under direct purchase. Compensation amount has been received without any protest by the Petitioner. No grievance has been raised and by way of an after thought, this Petition has been filed. The Petitioner's representation to Respondent No.3, the Land Acquisition Officer/Sub Divisional Officer Jalna, dated 05.12.2023 is said to be pending.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.3 to consider the record and pass an appropriate order on the representation of the Petitioner so that the Petitioner would at least get to know as regards the reason why his

925wp6084-24 claim is not being entertained. Let such exercise be completed within sixty days.
