Learned advocate Mr. Thombre, at the outset submits that the petitioners would only press for prayer clause (B), which reads as under :- "B) By issuing a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, orders or directions in the like nature, direct the respondent no.2 to decide the proposal of the petitioners for regularization of the encroachment, as per the government resolution dated 09.09.2019 and for that purpose issue necessary orders."

Petitioners are claiming that their applications/proposals for regularization are pending decision. The learned advocate submits that even the requisite report as per the Govt. Policy preceding regularization

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 to take appropriate decision on the petitioners' application for regularization as expeditiously as possible.
