Mr. Hon, learned counsel for the petitioner states that, the petitioner is making a limited prayer i.e. his proposal

Writ Petition No.2778/2016 seeking validity in respect of his tribe claim as belonging to Thakur - Scheduled Tribe be decided expeditiously. 3.

It appears that, the said proceedings are pending since April 2015. Considering the fact that the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent Committee, the respondent Committee shall decide the said proceedings on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within nine months.

Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
