Heard Mr Vibhute, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

The petitioner belongs to 'Koli Mahadev - Scheduled Tribe category. Initially, he was appointed as an Inspector in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Aircraft Division, Ozhar, Tq. Niphad, Dist. Nashik. His claim was forwarded to respondent No.2 - Committee on 19th August, 2013. Subsequently, the petitioner was appointed in the State services i.e. in Sanitary Department. The petitioner and respondent No.3 - Department were pursuing the Scrutiny Committee to decide the claim for validation as early as possible but the same is still pending before the Scrutiny Committee.

Now, the petitioner is served with a notice dated 2nd February, 2019 and he apprehends the serious prejudice to his service career on account of failure to submit validity certificate. On these facts, the petition is disposed of.

Issue notice to respondents, returnable forthwith. 5.
Learned Asstt. Govt. Pleader waives service of notice for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

Respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee s directed to decide the claim of the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from today. Respondent Nos.3, 4 and 5 are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner in furtherance of the notice dated 2nd February, 2019 till the decision of the Scrutiny Committee. We further make it clear that on decision of the Scrutiny Committee, respondents are at liberty to take appropriate steps.
