Mr.Koralkar, learned counsel submits that the proposal seeking validation in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to "Attar" OBC is not being decided by the Committee. On the contrary, advise is sought from the office of the Government Pleader whether to proceed with the said proposal or not. 3.

Learned A.G.P states that if the proposal complies with all legal requirement, the same will be decided by the Committee. 4.

Even in the letter issued to the office of the Government Pleader, the Committee accepts that the proposal regarding verification of the caste certificate of the petitioner has been

received by their office on 3.2.2016.

In case the said proposal complies with all legal requirement, the Committee shall decide the same on its own merits. If there are deficiencies in the said proposal, the petitioner shall rectify the said deficiencies.
