In Affidavit -in -reply presented on behalf of the respondents No. 2 and 3 it is accepted that award is passed after 01-01-2014, however, the amount has been determined in accordance with old enactment. The proceedings shall have to be initiated for determination of the amount of compensation in accordance with the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 ( for short " Act of 2013). 2.

The respondents have undertaken to determine the amount of compensation in accordance with Act of 2013 and on the basis of circular issued by the State Government on 09-05-2014. As such, necessary exercise in respect of determining the amount of compensation shall be completed within a period of six months from

2 WP 2815-16 today and on determination of such amount, difference amount payable to the petitioners shall be paid within the time stipulated above.
