Learned advocate for the petitioners, on instructions, states that the petitioners do not intend to prosecute the writ petition against respondent No. 7, since settlement between them and respondent No. 7 has already taken place. 2.

Heard learned advocates for the appearing parties. 3.

After hearing learned advocates, it transpires that the petitioners have no nexus with the concerned land whatsoever, having been dealt with by their father way back in 1969 under a registered instrument. Despite specific query as to how the

{2} wp6887-15 petitioners can relate themselves to the land after 1969, no plausible reason is coming forth.

Having regard to aforesaid, we do not consider that the petition carries any substance and the same is, therefore, rejected.
