Mr. Sakolkar, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that, the matter has been settled in Lok Adalat on 16th September, 2012. Pursuant to the award passed in Lok Adalat, petitioners had filed application U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act. The same is allowed on 14.02.2014, however, no amount of compensation is paid.

Mr. Chillarge, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 4/ acquiring body on instructions states that, the acquiring body is not challenging the said award and the payment would be made as per the availability of funds.

Considering the above, the respondents shall make the payment of the amount as awarded by the Special Land Acquisition Officer U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from today. The writ petition accordingly is disposed of. No costs.
