On 12.03.2024, we had passed following order: 1.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 5th April, 2024. The learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of the State and the learned Advocate Mr.

Nikam waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent No. 2.

The Petitioner in this petition is anxious to know the schedule of TET/TAIT2023 in the backdrop of TET/TAIT-2022 having commenced in January 2023 and the filling up of the posts (without interviews) is underway.

We are informed that the next stage of filling up of the posts (by conducting interviews) in TET/TAIT-2022, has been initiated.

In view of the order passed by this Court in the Suo Moto Public Interest Litigation No. 2/2022, dated 22nd September,

2022, at Aurangabad, the State is now obliged to conduct the TAIT twice a year.

The first examination was held in 2017. It is quite natural for candidates like the present Petitioner, to be eager to appear for the TET/TAIT examination and secure employment.

We, therefore, call upon Respondent No. 2, to place a road map before this Court indicating the probable dates/period in which the TET/TAIT 2023 would commence in 2024.

List this Petition on 5th April, 2024 in the 'urgent orders' category.

The learned Advocate Shri. Nikam places on record a copy of the communication dated 26.03.2024 received by him from the Commissioner, Maharashtra State Examination Council (two pages). The same is taken on record and collectively marked as 'X' for identification.

Referring to the second page of 'X', he submits that the TET exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in August - September, 2024 and the TAIT exam is tentatively scheduled in November - December, 2024. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner prays that Respondent be directed that they should not miss the time schedule.

We appreciate that the Examination Council has come out with a tentative plan and we are informed that this would be a regular annual feature.

In view of the above and by consent of the parties, this Petition is disposed off.
