Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner has challenged the order passed by the learned Collector holding her disqualified under Section 10(1-A) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959 for non submission of caste validity certificate within one year from the date of election as a member to the Gram Panchayat Darawati Tanda Tq. Parali Dist. Beed. An order was passed by the learned Collector on 31st January 2025. 3.

From the facts of the petition is it clear that the petitioner came to be elected as a member to the gram panchayat on 18th December 2023.

Ethape ( 2 ) 32-WP-3765-2025 The petitioner could not submit the caste validity certificate within a period of one year from the date of election and also within a period extended by the State.

It is the case of the petitioner that her proposal was pending when she filed a nomination form. The caste scrutiny committee has now issued a certificate on 12th February 2025 i.e. after the cut of date. This Court thus finds that there is no case is made out to entertain the petition. Petition is therefore dismissed. No order as to costs. [KISHORE C. SANT, J.]
