Learned counsel for petitioners states that the grievance raised by petitioners in the instant petitions stands redressed except decision on the representation tendered by petitioners to the Deputy Commissioner (Sales Tax).

These petitions as such can be disposed of with directions to respondent no. 6 to take decision on the representation tendered by petitioners in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today and it is accordingly directed. The Deputy Commissioner (Sales Tax) shall consider the contentions raised in the representation in accordance with law. In the event of taking of any coercive action by respondents, liberty to petitioners to avail of remedies available in law.
