The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing the petition, the petitioner was issued with the notice by the committee and the date of appearance was fixed as 21.02.2021. On that day, the petitioner was not well, as such, adjournment was sought.

The petitioner has been served with the vigilance report. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 26.04.2021 and shall file his say to the vigilance report on the said day.

The Committee shall endeavour to decide the proceeding expeditiously and preferably within four (4) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
