The petitioner is seeking a tribe certificate in Form-C since the certificate issued to him is in incorrect form. He has submitted the application to the respondent/competent authority on 11.12.2024. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the original certificate is in his custody.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to tender the original tribe certificate to the respondent/competent authority within one week. On verifying its genuineness and without undertaking any other inquiry, the respondent/competent authority shall issue a fresh tribe certificate in Form-C within two weeks thereafter. [Y.G.
