Present petition can be disposed off in view of the fact that petitioner has prayed for directions to Respondent no.2 to decide her Tribe claim.

The learned AGP after waiving notice for respondents and on instructions from respondent no.2 submits that the matter is pending for Vigilance Cell and it will take about six months to dispose off the matter on merits.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner wants to appear for 'NEET' examination, which is scheduled to be held on 5.5.2024 and, therefore, taking into consideration urgency, he prays for directions to be given to the respondent nos.2 to decide the Tribe claim of the petitioner by 31.3.2024.

Taking into consideration pendency of the matter before respondent no.2 so also urgency for the petitioner, we direct Respondent no.2 to decide the Tribe claim of the petitioner by 30th of April, 2024.
