In pursuance of the notices issued to the Respondents, Respondent No.6 has filed affidavit in reply. Along with the said affidavit in reply at Exhibit `R-1' the chart is placed on record, mentioning therein the entitlement of the petitioners for the amount due towards monthly salary arrears. In para 9 of the affidavit in reply, it is stated that the Municipal Corporation is already facing weak financial condition and as the 19
2949.16WP teachers are not regularized by the State Government, the Corporation and earlier Councils were not getting any amount towards the salary payments of the petitioners and other equally situated teachers and because of this the Corporation is not in position to make onetime payment of salary to the petitioners, but corporation undertakes that within a period of 6 months, the Corporation will make endeavour to make payment of salary of the petitioners as per the chart annexed with the Reply.

Since the petitioners have not received salary from the year 2005 and 2007, we direct Respondent No.6 to make payment within four months from today. The Petition is disposed of in above terms.

The parties shall act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
