1] Learned Senior Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have not been given benefit of

interest under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act. In the references also, the said benefit is not given. The Collector is the Competent Authority to decide the same. 2] Learned AGP accepts notice for respondent nos.1 to 3.

3] The representations, according to the petitioners, are given in May, 2019. In case, such representations are filed by the petitioners and the same are pending with respondent no.2, then respondent no.2 shall take decision upon the said representations, on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, with regard to the grant of interest under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act and decide the said representations preferably within six months.

4] Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
