ORAL ORDER :- .

The petitioner challenges the order passed by respondent No.2 rejecting the request of the petitioner to correct the name of the petitioner as "Samir", so also to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in the school record.

Mr. Thombre, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may not press so far as change of date of birth is concerned, however, name of the petitioner is wrongly recorded as "Sahil" instead of "Samir".

Mr. Deshpande, learned Assistant Solicitor General submits that the report is received from the Principal of G.A. Shah Engligh School, Sillod that the mistake in the name of the petitioner has occurred by oversight from the teacher's side. 4.

In view of the above, there will be no impediment to direct respondent No.2 to correct name of the petitioner as "Samir" instead of "Sahil" as the fault lies with the teacher of the said School. 5.

The said correction in the name of the petitioner shall be accordingly carried out immediately and necessary document shall be issued accordingly.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
