Affidavit-in-reply has been presented on behalf of respondents 5 and 6 by the Police Inspector, Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar, on 07.06.2016. In paragraph no. 12 of the affidavitin-reply, it is recorded thus : 12.

I say that, the designated authorities have been invariably issuing permissions and such permissions are rarely rejected, more particularly when, the authorities are of the opinion that, use of such Sound System may cause some law and order problems on any such give occasion. I say that, if the petitioners

{2} wp2899.16.odt approach the answering respondents seeking permission for use of DJ System, the answering respondents would decide the individual applications of the petitioners in accordance with law. In view of this position, the Writ Petition is premature and without any sufficient cause. It is devoid of any merits. It deserves to be dismissed at its threshold.

In view of statement made in affidavit-in-reply as recorded above, the grievance raised by petitioner in the instant petition stands substantially redressed. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
