Heard learned counsel for the Applicant -

original accused. The counsel submits that Appeal deserves to be admitted. According to the counsel, the Applicant-accused may be granted bail looking to his age and the counsel submits that the accused has taken defence in the trial Court that because of money transactions gone wrong, he has been falsely implicated. The learned counsel points out the reasonings from the Judgment of the trial Court to say that there is good case for the Applicant in the Appeal. He thus prays for grant of bail.

Learned A.P.P. opposes the Application and according to him the accused is not entitled to bail looking to the gravity of the offence. 3.

Record shows that the Applicant - accused was in custody even as under-trial. Now he has been convicted of the offence. Looking to the gravity of the offence, it would be appropriate to expedite the Appeal. The Applicant accused cannot

be released on bail looking to the evidence which has come on record and the conviction which has been recorded against him for such serious offence.

Criminal Application for bail is rejected. Hearing of Criminal Appeal No.420 of 2015 is expedited.
