The petitioners putforthprayer Clause (B), which reads as under :

"(B) By issuing an appropriate direction, Writ or order in the like nature, the respondent No. 3 Sub Divisional Officer, Jalna be directed to decide the claim of the petitioner towards the losses caused due to high tension transmission line as per Government Resolution dated 31.05.2017 and as per existing position of law."

It is submitted that the petitioners have approached the District Collector for seeking compensation by an application, towards losses suffered due to installation of high tension lines, the diminution of the value of the property and crop compensation, (undated), which is said to have been filed sometime in the year 2017. The matter is yet to be decided.

The learned Advocate representing respondent No. 2 Company submits that the said Company is a party respondent in the proceedings before the District Collector and it has no objection if the proceedings are decided expeditiously.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 5.

We expect, respondent No. 3 to decide the pending applications/complaints of the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 20th October, 2022. 6.

Needless to state, all the parties shall be issued with notices and adequate opportunities of hearing shall be granted to them, before the respondent No. 3 delivers the order on the merits of the application.
