Respondent No.1 Shri Dhanjay Sadashiv Kolekar, Chief Officer, Municipal Council, Shrigonda is present in the Court. An affidavit dated 25.5.2018 has been filed by him. An unconditional and unqualified apology has been tendered for having failed in implementing the direction set out in paragraph No.8 (B & C).

Learned counsel for respondent No.1 submits that SLP No. 8113 of 2017 was filed in the Apex Court on 10.3.2017. No order has been passed till date. In this backdrop, a short affidavit is tendered today by respondent No.1, stating that the above said directions to his extent would be complied with by him within two weeks from today. akl/d

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the further direction in paragraph No.8(D and E) of the judgment of this Court dated 14.2.2017 will have to be complied with by the Department of Urban Development / respondent No.2 herein, and hence this Contempt Petition can be disposed off in the light of the undertaking submitted through his affidavit by respondent No.1 dated 6.6.2018. 4.
Considering the above, this Contempt Petition is disposed off. It goes without saying that respondent No.2 would implement the further directions of this Court set out in paragraph No.8(D) and (E) of the judgment dated 14.2.2017 within the same time frame, which is prescribed thereunder.
