PER COURT :- 1.

In response to the submissions made by Mr. Kulkarni, qua pendency of the second appeal under section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code on the file of the Deputy Director of Land Records, Nasik questioning the order of District Superintendent of Land Records, Ahmednagar dated 31st January, 2023, the learned AGP submits that the appeal of the petitioner can be decided expeditiously by the in-charge Appellate Authority.

In view of the aforesaid statement, petition stands disposed off.

We direct the appellate authority to decide the appeal/revision of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, aaa/-

wp 3529.23.odt and in any case, within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order. The appellate authority must consider the Government Policy dated 18th January, 2022 which provides for non-effecting the change in the revenue record, till the appeal period is over.
